In this case, I did travel farther. Up in Yosemite Valley, near Nevada Falls. Hiking back to camp I encountered this rare beauty. Hanging on from the granite, its colors overpowering the rough surface upon which it grows.
Showcasing the beauty that surrounds us through the world of flowers and the landscape. Many times unperceived, the subtleties inherent in such creation can teach us a lot.
